  85. all features of the program, and is not crippled in any way.  You may
  86. use it for up to 30 days, without charge (see AHELP.DOC for more
  87. details).  If you like the program, and wish to continue its use after

  89. REGISTER.DOC for more details).  Any fee you may have paid to others

  116. The installation procedure for AHELP is quite simple.  The
  117. package includes a program, "INSTALL.EXE", which automates the
  118. entire process.  You will need about 100K of available disk space
  119. on the hard drive on which you plan to install AHELP.
  120.  
  121. The exact steps you need to take will depend on how you received AHELP
  122.  
  123.  
  124. INSTALLING FROM DISKETTES
  125.  
  126. To install from diskette(s), you need to perform the following steps.
  127.  
  128.    o  Place the AHELP distribution diskette in the appropriate diskette
  129.       drive.
  130.  
  131.    o  Execute the "INSTALL.EXE" program on the distribution diskette.
  132.       For example, if the distribution diskette is on drive A:, type
  133.       the MS-DOS command, "a:install".
  134.  
  135.    o  Follow the instructions presented by the installation program.
  136.       You will have a chance to approve installation before any changes
  137.       are actually made to the contents of your hard drive.  The
  138.       program will ask you for a destination directory, and will copy
  139.       the AHELP files to that directory. If you so direct it, the
  140.       installation program will install executable programs and
  141.       documentation in other directories of your choice.  It will make
  142.       no other changes; specifically, it will not modify your
  143.       autoexec.bat or config.sys files.

  146. INSTALLING FROM A HARD DRIVE
  147.  
  148. If you downloaded AHELP from a BBS (or received it in the form of
  149. archive files from some other source), you will need to perform the
  150. following steps.

  152.    o  Extract the contents of the archive file(s) in a temporary
  153.       directory on your hard drive.  The procedure for doing this
  154.       varies, depending on the form in which you received the package.
  155.       In all likelihood, the fact that you are reading this text means
  156.       that you already have the necessary tools and knowledge to
  157.       perform this step.  If not, you should be able to obtain
  158.       directions for this from the same source from which you received
  159.       the package.

  161.    o  Execute the "INSTALL.EXE" program which you have extracted.  For
  162.       example, if the temporary directory into which you have extracted
  163.       the AHELP package is C:\TEMPDIR, you would execute the MS-DOS
